Byrd Park

Directions to Byrd Park from various points of entry.

The East:
From I-64, take I-95 South, then take the Downtown Expressway(I-195, a $.50 toll road). Go through the toll and then take the Boulevard exit(Rte. 161). Go straight to the stoplight and take a left onto Boulevard. You will then cross the Downtown Expressway and see tennis courts on your right and a statue straight ahead. Follow the road to the right as it becomes Blanton Avenue. Take your first left into Byrd Park and continue until you see a stop sign. Turn right and the fields will be on your left.

The West:
From I-64, take I-195 South, and take the Cary St./Grove Ave. exit. At the top of the ramp, go straight, then take a left at the stoplight onto Cary St.. Follow Cary St. about a mile through Carytown, then take a right onto Boulevard. Go through the next stoplight and you will cross the Downtown Expressway and see tennis courts on your right and a statue straight ahead. Follow the road to the right as it becomes Blanton Avenue. Take your first left into Byrd Park and continue until you see a stop sign. Turn right and the fields will be on your left.

The North:
From I-95, take the exit for I-195 South Powhite Parkway/I-64 West Charlottesville. Upon exiting, stay to the left and take the split for I-195 South Powhite Parkway. Follow I-195 South about a mile or so and take the Cary St./Grove Ave. exit. At the top of the ramp, go straight, then take a left at the stoplight onto Cary St.. Follow Cary St. about a mile through Carytown, then take a right onto Boulevard. Go through the next stoplight and you will cross the Downtown Expressway and see tennis courts on your right and a statue straight ahead. Follow the road to the right as it becomes Blanton Avenue. Take your first left into Byrd Park and continue until you see a stop sign. Turn right and the fields will be on your left.
